My New Love..

Dear Patients,
I have found a new love.  It is accounting. I love to go to my accounting class and i am freakin good at it.  I never would have thought that i would enjoy something that had to do with math.  I am the kid in the class that answers all the questions and i am finally the kid that people call and ask for help before the test.  My teacher is very enthused that i share his love for accounting and is prompting me to change my major.  I am thinking about changing my major and becoming an accountant.  Weird huh.  Well i really do love to do my homework and to read in my accounting book.  So who knows one day i might be an accountant for the church.... isnt that scary ahahahahaha.  Well i have to go study for an accounting test.
The News is in and the Doctor is studying

Preston does accounting and he enjoys it. Well except for the time he worked with a CPA and it was tax season. CRAZY time. But he now works as an accountant for a business here in charleston and he seems to really enjoy it, most of the time. That's also what Joseph is majoring in. I guess its a popular profession

Yes I am an accountant. It is a good job and I do enjoy it most times. Working as an accountant you can really see how people would be dishonest with a company. All in all I love my job.

that's great you found your niche.
Kevin's degree is in Finance and he had to take some accounting classes, which he enjoyed.
Maybe you could work for my dad and replace my mom so she doesn't have to work! :o)

That's cool that you love accounting. It must run in the family. That's what I got my degree in and that is what Ninna did for years. I love the organizational part. I love to complete the whole cycle and see it all balanced! Maybe I will actually have a job that I can use my degree in oneday!

You are officially a nerd. haha jk. So are you changing your major? Maybe you can be an accountant for Clemson or something...I'm sure someone has that job. Will you get me lots of money back on my taxes when I am all grown up? haha

It’s been years since this post, how is your accounting class, Dr Drew? It is good to hear that there are professionals from other fields who find accounting fascinating. I was very reluctant to learn the basics of accounting myself since I was never really a fan of numbers. Good thing my accountant walked me through it. :)

Regards,
Enrique

I may be years late but still, this is a great news! I think taking accounting is a wise choice, especially these days because many people are not fond of preparing their tax and everything that goes with it. You'll definitely have a wide opportunity if you pursue it. But if not, you'll definitely have a huge advantage. Because you now have ideas on how tax works. → Allison @ BestDenverCPA.com

Math was one of the worst subjects for me when I was a kid. Who would love somebody who disturbs other people just to solve their problems and find their x? Heh! Kidding aside, accounting is one of the most interesting field I've ever worked on. Its been ages, Drew. Are you still in an accounting class? I bet you're already a CPA. :)
